After your artificial nails, you will notice that your natural nails are dry, cracked and extra brittle. At this stage, we will have some suggestions for you to do:
Keep your nails short for a while.
Your sensitive nails will also be prone to breakage. Therefore, to avoid possible pain, keep your nails short until they return to their old healthy state.
Treat cuticles with oil.
The way to reduce the damaged and worn appearance of your nails is through cuticle oils. With these oils that you will always have at hand, your nails will regain their healthy state when you apply a few drops on your nails and cuticles throughout the day. In this regard, you are free to choose the oil you want; because the purpose here is to keep your nails moist. Fragrant ones such as coconut oil and lavender oil are of course our favourites!
Healthy eating is also in play here.
A healthy diet not only improves many things in your body, but also shows its effect on the nails. Make sure your diet is rich in healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. Consume foods such as almonds, walnuts, broccoli, and avocados.
Use nail strengthener instead of nail polish for a while.
Do not apply nail polish for a few weeks to allow your nails to breathe for a while. Buy a quality nail strengthening product and apply it. This creates a protective barrier on your nails and prevents breakage.
